Overview
Proxia® Business Process Manager and Rules Server
Platform for automating process in organizations

Proxia® Business Process Manager and Rules Server, Proxia® BPM is a complete platform that allows automating processes in organizations.

Proxia® BPM allows automating and improving the organization's internal processes, based to do this on a complete workflow engine and a powerful natural language rule interpreter. It can automate from the simplest tasks to the most complex processes in which both people and the organization's backoffice systems intervene, and where there might be multiple exit points, repetitions, delays, lockages, etc.

Therefore, introducing Proxia® BPM into an organization guarantees not only the fulfilment of its immediate objectives, but it also adapts to its growing maturity level. It can convert into the point upon which the whole business strategy revolves in both the present and also the future.

The SOA based architecture, its adequacy for the XPDL standard, the existence of predefined productivity tools - database access, generic interface with Web services, integrated digital signature, native support for delegations and substitutions, etc. - as well as its complete event and timing engine, make Proxia® BPM an ideal solution for automating processes in both large organizations and the smallest organizations that require such automation to improve their productivity.

Why Proxia® BPM?

Proxia® BPM is not limited to only being a process manager. It includes a series of features and functions that provide an ideal entry level for automating processes of the organization.

The native properties of Proxia® BPM such as supporting permanent and temporary delegations or tightly-coupled rules interpreter, ensure not only defining and initiating stable, robust and independent processes.

From the ISV point of view, Proxia® BPM provides a complete and integrated solution that allows starting up any organizational process. To do so, it takes advantage of over twenty predefined tools, the evetn and timing engine, and the capacity that the system provides for delegations and rule interpreter. Its integration with other Proxia® suite products, especially with Proxia® Document Manager and Proxia® Portal Server, makes it possible to provide a solution that is unified, homogeneous and with exceptional features.

From the organization point of view, Proxia® BPM provides an integral vision of the process, managed in a unified and integrated manner with the other elements that form the organization's backoffice.

Arquitecture

Proxia® BPM is developed upon J2EE technology, based on SOA architecture using standards such as XPDL.

A series of modules are deployed, supported on the underlying technological base. Their goal is to provide a robust and scalable solution, directed towards providing a sturdy and scalable solution, designed for supporting different processes of the organization, regardless of its physical users and helping to define processes that are close to the business through the rule interpreter.
